It’s been a difficult year for you, Sir Richard. Losing your beloved Mum made me sad especially as I had to cancel my own flights home to Melbourne missing my Mum and her twins, 70th Birthdays. The pandemic has been difficult for everyone personally and professionally.

The burlesque community also lost a shining star to Covid-19, one of the performers who was a key part of the My Heart Belongs to Branson 2016 #BurlesqueAPeel record attempt, Justine L’amour Le Monde. We are still mourning her loss which was only a few weeks ago. (L’amour Le Monde is featured in this press article on the far right. She was a courageous double-lung transplant survivor who made the world a better place filled with more sunshine.)

However, you continue to inspire me with your leadership and I’ve just completed my Virgin StartUp business plan and cash flow forecast as I prepare to scale World Burlesque Academy and apply for RnD grants as well as pitching to investors.

I want to congratulation the whole team for the success at Virgin, particularly with Virgin Galactic.
