Dita Von Teese, a personal video kicks off World Burlesque Day 2022.

Well, World Burlesque Day has truly been cemented on the map in 2022.

Presented by the World Burlesque Academy App, it was the third year of this glittering global celebration and I was humbled and delighted to get a personal greeting from Dita Von Teese herself congratulating me and wishing us well for the day.

This set the tone for what was the biggest success for World Burlesque Day in the short history of this event.

With a 230,000 media reach which is still growing, we had huge support worldwide.

Our main tribute, Gypsy Rose Lee, was honoured with a book reading by actress and burlesque star, Ruby Joule and we thank North Atlantic Books and Gypsy’s son, Erik Lee Preminger for their support of the day.

We are still in the midst of the #queenofthescenechallenge, currently trending on TikTok with 12,000 views are growing with entries from Estonia, Mexico, Finland, Chile across the USA and UK.
